Your online abstract should be written to a lay audience to explain your exhibit and why the observer would be interested in your work. This lay abstract will be used for the review process if you are nominated for a RaCAS award. Your actual exhibit/poster may be different than your lay audience abstract. Your abstract will be published in the symposium proceedings. Please make sure your abstract is complete before you submit your application.

Presenters are responsible for making their own arrangements for ALL AV equipment (computer, TV, VCR, DVD, projector, etc).

I am willing to be nominated by my faculty sponsor for one of 4 Outstanding Research and Creative Activities awards. I understand that, if selected I will be responsible for presenting my research or creative work at the General Session in a 12 minute presentation to faculty peers, and visitors.

I am willing to allow the use of digital, video, and audio recordings of my presentation, as well as my name, voice, and likeness to promote this event. NOTE: You have the right to refuse.

I would like to have my presentation considered for the "Chancellor's Awards" which will be judged the morning of the symposium.

I am willing to have the electronic file of my presentation used as a display exhibit at different locations, or in newspaper/TV advertising, or in grants that support student-based research.

I understand that I am responsible for assuring that the necessary accommodations (above) are communicated for my presentation and that arrangements for these cannot be modified after March 30, 2012.
